1) Go to 'View Pages' area of the Capture Page Creator.
2) Click on 'View' for the Capture page you're interested in. This will
bring that page up in a browser new window, or a new tab.
3) Then go Add Capture page - Select a Domain, name your page and hit
submit.
4) Click on HTML at the bottom of that new page, and clean out all code
that's in there.
5) In your browser (the page that came up when you hit view) go 'View'
then 'Source'(or Page Source in FF) and copy all this code.
6) Paste all this code into the Capture Page Creator Edit page you have
open.
7) Click 'Preview' at the bottom, then hit 'Save Capture Page'. Job
done! :-)
This is a bit safer because there is no way you can damage the source code
in your original page when you're copying the code.

Although it obviously took a little while for anyone to notice, it looks like August will go down as a very important period in Twitter's history. comScore has determined that Twitter passed MySpace in terms of unique visitors last month.
In one sense, the changeup wasn't a huge deal: Twitter just saw 96 million visitors versus MySpace's 95 million. But the switch looks permanent, considering that, on a year-over-year basis, Twitter's visitor count increased 76 percent while MySpace's fell 17 percent. Amir Efrati also noted, "Twitter is expected to gain visitors from a redesign of Twitter.com launched two weeks ago, which made the site more like Facebook's and could draw in users who access Twitter through third-party applications such as TweetDeck."
This should make advertisers and businesspeople who still haven't come to respect Twitter think twice, perhaps devoting a little bit of time and money to the site as a result. It's also possible a sort of snowball effect in terms of users could occur, since some people are sure to follow their friends in joining Twitter. Why is that important for affiliate marketers like you and I?Because, if you're a freedom freak like me who wants to work no more than four hours a day or, worse, you're building your internet business part-time after your work and family commitments, you need to be putting your efforts in places which will have the greatest return to you.

Now I would much rather have people reading my comments see my picture to the left rather than the default gravatar image you see on the right.
It is not hard to do and it is very powerful to have your face or icon show up when you are commenting. If you are using the same image in the various social sites like Twitter, Facebook, et al it becomes easy to brand yourself.
Now if you are bashful and don’t want to use your actual picture you really do need some image to promote your business.
To get a gravatar you only need to register and upload your image at http://en.gravatar.com/.
Sign up and upload your image and then when you comment on blogs it will pull your image based on your email address.

There's something very small that I've noticed seeming to have a significant effect on the search rankings on a few of my niche sites.
It's not quite at the level of verified and proven yet (more testing to do) but it's happened a couple too many times for it to be a coincidence so I thought it was certainly worth sharing.
It's all to do with...
Blog Post Titles & URLs
(Not just for bloggers, applies to static sites too)Normally, when I write a title for a blog post, I'll do the typical things:
1. Make sure my keyword is the first word of the title.
2. Make sure the rest of the title is the right size for the title of a search result, and that it is something enticing and highly relevant to the searcher of that keyword.
Next is where it gets interesting...
You might know how in Wordpress when you're writing a post title, there is a field below the title where the URL of the post pops up, based on what you write in the post field.
Here's An Example
So when you make your post title, say:
"Sit Stay Fetch: The Best Dog Training Guide?"
The URL appears as:
http://yourblog.com/sit-stay-fetch-the-best-dog-training-guide
Up until more recent versions of Wordpress, if you had your permalink structure set as:
%postname%
Then that post URL was what you were stuck with by default.
But now, WP has a button next to the post URL field (this is when you're writing your post still) called "edit" where you can actually CHANGE that URL of your post to anything you want.
Stupidly, I didn't bother to use this function for a long time, stuck in my old ways of just letting the post URL be the post title and being content with that.
What we started testing is making what comes after the end of your domain in the post's URL... JUST the keyword you're targeting... nothing else.
So To Perform This:
When your post is titled:
"Sit Stay Fetch: The Best Dog Training Guide?"
You edit your post URL to make it:
http://yourblog.com/sit-stay-fetch
Where Sit Stay fetch is the keyword you're trying to target.
Results?
So far, doing the same thing with two posts but only making the post URL different... the version with JUST the keyword is seeming to perform better... and by far!
And it makes sense:
When Google is trying to determine what your page is about, it's easier for them when there is less keywords in your post's URL, isn't it?
Not only that, but I have a suspicion that we'll find the Click Through rate from searchers of that term to be higher when they see a URL that isn't truncated (when Google cuts off your URL because it's too long) and ONLY contains the keyword they searched for.
So this could actually be a double whammy traffic boost if you implement it thoroughly.
Give it a shot on your blog posts (or page titles on static sites) if you don't already and see if you notice the difference!

Fantastico is a really easy way to install a WordPress blog and all far too many people recommend it. Especially the courses on using blogs for affiliate marketing.
Now it is very easy to use it but unfortunately there is a risk and it is never addressed.
Over the years I have had a couple blogs hacked and every one of those was installed with Fantastico. There is no doubt in my mind that if you are using Fantastico to install your blogs you have increased the risk of someone hacking your blog.
Now if you use and tweak your blog there is not as big of a risk but for the most part people that use Fantastico do it because of the ease and because they are not comfortable with installing the blog directly.
Now if you use WP Security and follow the steps they have it will eliminate a lot of that risk. This plugin will walk you through the areas that your blog may be vulnerable.
The problem is that some of those steps require technical skills that the person that used Fantastico does not have or was avoiding. Some of those like changing the table tags are quite easy to do while installing the blog directly but require more technical knowledge to fix after the fact.
So if you are going to have a blog make sure that you at least acquire the basic skills like using FTP, changing chmod and an understanding of PhpMyAdmin.
WordPress has made it easier with each release to handle your blog with out these skills. You can add themes and plugins without FTP knowledge but these are basics you should have.
If you really want to be able to do quick installs and not have these risks check out Expert WordPress where Alex and Dmitry have created an automated install system without the risks of Fantastico. I only! use Expert Wordpress these days.
